Why this role exists at EduRankAI
Take small features end-to-end — schema, API, UI, tests, deploy. The role asks for breadth without giving up the bar you would set on either side, and it exists for engineers who refuse the false split between frontend and backend. You will pair with Senior engineers across both halves and grow into a Senior role over 18-24 months. By month 12 you should be shipping features without supervision and reviewing other engineers' PRs on both sides.
02 — The work
What you will own
- 01 Ship small features end-to-end — schema, API, UI, tests, deploy.
- 02 Write tests where they pay off; resist writing them where they do not.
- 03 Participate in design review on both halves of the stack.
- 04 Fix production bugs across the stack.
- 05 Pair with Senior engineers on either side of the stack weekly.

- → You have shipped at least one full-stack feature you can point at that has been live for 6+ months.
- → You have written code in both your UI and your DB layer in the same week.
- → You read other people's RFCs and your comments are useful.
- → You have changed your mind on a technical decision after a code review.
- → You can describe an abstraction you regretted adding.
