Why this role exists at EduRankAI
Ship frontend features across the marketing site, applicant portal, and admin UI. The role is structured to give you increasingly hard scope as you grow — start by shipping under a Senior's code review, grow into owning small features end-to-end, and become a Senior engineer in 18-24 months. You will pair with a Senior daily, you will write tests that catch the bugs you already shipped, and you will be expected to push back on a design when you can see why it will not work.
02 — The work
What you will own
- 01 Ship frontend features end-to-end under Senior code review.
- 02 Maintain and extend the component library — small contributions every week.
- 03 Fix Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals issues as a sustained habit, not a one-off.
- 04 Write unit + visual regression tests for the cases you got wrong the first time.
- 05 Participate in code review across the frontend team; learn the bar.
- 06 Pair with design on hard layouts.

- → You can describe a CSS or React bug you fixed by reading the spec, not by trial-and-error.

Objectives agreed at the start of each cycle. Hours recorded for compliance are never used as a performance score.
Where this stands legally
Within the 9-hour day and 48-hour week ceiling of the applicable state Shops and Establishments Act, with at least 24 consecutive hours of weekly rest and a break of at least 30 minutes after five hours of continuous work. Hours are recorded for statutory compliance only. Work beyond the scheduled week is agreed in advance and compensated with time off in lieu.
