Customer Intelligence Intern

Customer intelligence is the evidence base about the learners and institutions already using our platform — who they are, how they behave, and why they stay or leave.

Intern Internship Remote / Hybrid (India) 3 Months

Engagement

Internship

Full-time and on-site at our campus. Structured, hands-on mentorship. Remote only in rare, pre-approved cases.

Scope of role

Contribute to live projects. Shadow senior practitioners. Build a portfolio that matters.

Please note this is an unpaid internship — the offer is real work, mentorship and experience at the frontier, not a stipend.

01 — The role

Why this role exists at EduRankAI

EduRankAI is developing next-generation technologies in Artificial Intelligence, Education Technology, Research, Product Engineering, and Digital Innovation. Customer intelligence is the evidence base about the learners and institutions already using our platform — who they are, how they behave, and why they stay or leave. The customer success and support teams resolve individual cases; this role looks across all of them and finds the pattern. You will code support tickets and interview transcripts into consistent themes, maintain segment profiles, and identify the behavioural signals that appear before an account disengages. Findings go to product and operations as documented evidence rather than opinion.

02 — The work

What you will own

  • 01 Code support tickets, cancellation reasons and interview transcripts against a documented theme taxonomy, and keep that taxonomy maintained.
  • 02 Build and refresh segment profiles for our main learner and institutional customer types each month.
  • 03 Analyse product-usage data to identify behavioural signals that precede disengagement, dormancy or renewal.
  • 04 Run structured customer interviews from a prepared discussion guide and write neutral, quotable summaries.
  • 05 Maintain a searchable repository of customer evidence so teams can find what has already been asked before commissioning new research.
  • 06 Track satisfaction and effort measures over time and explain movements with supporting evidence rather than speculation.
  • 07 Present a monthly customer-intelligence review to the product and operations teams.
  • 08 Handle all customer data under our privacy rules, including anonymisation and aggregation in anything shared internally.
