We're seeking an experienced Legal & Intellectual Property Manager to safeguard our innovations, strengthen corporate governance, manage legal risk, and support strategic growth through sound legal counsel.

What you will own
- 01 Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- 02 Manage employment, vendor, customer, and partnership contracts.
- 03 Advise leadership on corporate legal matters.
- 04 Coordinate with external legal counsel.
- 05 Develop and execute intellectual property protection strategies.
- 06 Manage patent, trademark, copyright, and design registrations.
- 07 Protect proprietary technologies, software, and research assets.
- 08 Prepare and negotiate licensing and technology transfer agreements.
- 09 Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- 10 Develop legal policies and corporate governance frameworks.
- 11 Support audits, regulatory filings, and corporate documentation.
- 12 Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.
- 13 Identify legal and commercial risks.
- 14 Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- 15 Support dispute resolution and legal investigations when required.
- 16 Review organizational policies from a legal and compliance perspective.

Who thrives here
- → LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- → 5–10+ years of experience in corporate law, technology law, intellectual property, or commercial contracts.
- → Strong understanding of startup, technology, and innovation ecosystems.
- → Experience managing patents, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing agreements.
- → Knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial law.
- → Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- → Experience handling employment, vendor, customer, and partnership agreements.
- → Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and technology regulations is preferred.
- → Ability to identify legal risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- → Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- → Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- → Commitment to protecting innovation while enabling sustainable business growth.

No counted hours. A five-day week with a four-hour overlap window so colleagues can reach you, and objectives agreed for the cycle.

Where this stands legally
Hours are not counted at this level. The statutory ceiling of 9 hours a day and 48 a week remains the limit the role is designed to fit inside: if the work cannot be done within a normal week, the scope is wrong, not the person.
