Lead long-form investigative reporting for the HEI Truth Report. Senior reporters report to you. Two to four major investigations a year.

- 02 Author or co-author 2-4 major investigations a year.
- 03 Run the methodology bar — sources, evidence, fact-check.
- 04 Pair with data + legal on every investigation.
- 05 Train reporters on investigative methodology.

- → You have led at least three published investigations that produced visible institutional response.
- → You can defend an evidence chain to a defamation lawyer.

No counted hours. A five-day week with a four-hour overlap window, plus responsibility for the coverage of your area — including who is on call and when.

Where this stands legally
Hours are not counted at this level. The statutory ceiling of 9 hours a day and 48 a week remains the limit the role is designed to fit inside: if the work cannot be done within a normal week, the scope is wrong, not the person.
